Patince - thermal baths
The recreational area of thermal swimming pool Patince is 17 kilometers from Komarno towards Štúrovo and is the southernmost point of Slovakia. This community has everything that is needed for tourism - warm, pleasant weather with the most sunny days per year, beautiful nature, nearby landmarks and main magnet are thermal springs, which led to the creation of a pool recently and wellness center.
The recreational area was built around thermal springs. Local thermal water comes from three sources. All are characterized by a high content of bicarbonate, calcium, magnesium and sulphates. Directly on site wellness center stems from the well spring Hejvíz two hundred meters deep, but the water is only understood from a depth of six hundred and forty meters, has a temperature 27 degrees. This spring, together with its surroundings since 1953 protected natural monument.
The wellness area is located about three kilometers from the village Patince and stretches for about twenty-seven acres. It is a huge resort complex, which provides both bathing and classic spa services. The menu and service rather unusual and interesting. Good location and occurrence of thermal springs allows year-round, although the local season runs from June 1 to September 10.
