Autokemp in Paradise "The swimming pool"
The village of Dolní Kalná offers affordable accommodation in the "Na koupališti" car camp. The car camp is located in the middle of forests, in a quiet and nice environment of the Krkonoše landscape. The operation is seasonal, from spring to autumn. Outside the holidays, we recommend using the offer of accommodation in cottages for school trips and for residential events of various organizations or clubs (eg sports, dog breeders, seniors, etc.). We offer discounts for larger groups.
Possibility of accommodation in wooden cottages or in your own tents or caravans. There is a children's corner, a high-quality football field FK Dolní Kalná with its own facilities and a small volleyball court. Seasonal offer of basic food and refreshments in two kiosks directly in the area. Fire is allowed in designated areas. The swimming pool is open depending on the weather from June to September.
In the car camp there are 4-bed cottages (with the possibility of an extra bed) and 6-bed cottages (separate rooms with 3 beds, each room under a separate lock). Equipment of cottages: beds or armchairs, tables, chairs, wardrobes, bedding, small refrigerator, el. socket. Accommodated guests have free internet connection via wifi.
For guests staying at the campsite there is a common kitchen with electric stove, 2 large refrigerator with freezer boxes, hot and cold water, lounge, where you can dine. Newly renovated sanitary facilities for men and women equipped with washrooms, showers with hot water and toilets, the possibility of renting a washing machine for a fee of 40 CZK.
In the village located about 1 km is grocery and general merchandise, drugstore shop, textile, paper and toys, hairdresser, post office, hotel and motel with dining options, a health center with a general physician and dental clinics (limited opening hours), repairs, tire .
The car camp is located about 200 m from the main road in the direction from Jičín to Trutnov (15 km from Nová Paka). The Krkonoše Gate - Vrchlabí - is 15 km away. From the village of Dolní Kalná there is a regular bus connection on the lines: Jičín-Trutov, Nová Paka-Hostinné, Dolní Kalná-Vrchlabí, Trutnov-Prague, Jilemnice-Levínská Olešnice. Train connections are possible from Horka u staré Paky station, which is 6 km away.
Around the town are many interesting destinations for hiking and cycling. Are possible trips to the mountains, Bohemian Paradise, Adršbašských and Teplice rocks, ZOO in Dvur Kralove and more.
