On arrival at the South Moravian camp Baldovec (located in the very heart of the Moravian Karst) I was thrilled by the location of the camp, which is situated in a really beautiful valley of the White Water, which is perfectly cut from Moravian cities, towns and villages. The location of the camp is really great, but finding it is quite a problem, because the camp is located almost in solitude in the middle of the forests of the Moravian Karst. However, those who search are usually found, which was also my case, so after a while I finally discovered the camp.
Personal observations from the South Moravian camp Baldovec
For cyclists, I recommend driving to the village of Holštejn and then walking around the river Bíla voda, which will reliably accompany you to the camp itself. 
Beautiful grassy areas for camping
In addition to the beautiful nature, immediately upon arrival at the camp I noticed that the camp has a carefully maintained grass surface, which is the most ideal surface for camping. And really, the tent was really built like butter .. 
Great occupancy of the camp
Even though the camp is situated in the unspoilt nature of the Moravian Karst, you will not enjoy the peace here very much. This is due to the high occupancy of the camp and the large number of attractions for adults and children. If you are looking for peace and quiet, I do not recommend this otherwise beautiful camp. 
Interesting attractions
However, if you are looking for interesting attractions in nature, you are in the right place. The camp has an inexhaustible number of mainly sports attractions. There is a large grass football pitch, an outdoor pool, a beach volleyball court and tennis courts. And that's not all, because if you get tired of ball sports and swimming, you can shoot here like me from a bow or slingshot.
First-class rope center
The main attraction of the whole camp, however, is a modern rope center and a climbing wall, which has the most demanding front wall at a height of 21 meters. Although I am not attracted to this type of sport at all, I enjoyed watching children and young people love this type of adrenaline sport.
Quiet zone
For cyclists like me, however, I especially welcomed the zone of peace, rest and relaxation. The zone is not outside, of course, there is a zone of noise and noise, but inside the Water World, where I tried a modern whirlpool, sauna and a great heated lounger.
Camping equipment for one minus
In every camp - and the Baldovec camp was no exception - I pay particular attention to sanitary and catering facilities 
. In the Baldovec camp I had to state that the equipment of the whole camp is really very good. Everything is not perfect here, but the main large sanitary facility is completely modern and fully functional, so for me one minus. You only have to pay extra for a shower with hot water and I would just see it as a minor minus ..
Boarding in the camp
For hungry stomachs, there is a modern restaurant with a capacity of 165 seats. The restaurant is cleverly separated by a small lounge and a spacious covered terrace for 120 guests. In the summer, however, expect to wait longer for lunch or dinner, I waited for about 45 minutes, which can really discourage someone.
Overall evaluation of the camp
Camp Baldovec is especially suitable for families with children for several days. However, for cyclists who like to ride in nature, it can be a good asylum for one or two nights.
