Camping Šternberk - recreation Low Jeseníky
The HSTS Šternberk car camp is located on the border of Haná and the foothills of the Low Jeseník. It is located in the valley of the river Sitka, lined on both sides by mixed forests, in the recreational cottage part of the town of Šternberk. It offers the possibility of walks in the near and more distant surroundings along marked hiking trails. The same applies to cyclists. Autoturists have the opportunity to visit a large number of natural and historical attractions in the entire Olomouc region and adjacent areas in central Haná. If the weather is good, fans of mushroom picking will also enjoy themselves. Accommodation capacity consists of beds in cottages and free space for caravans and tents. Electrical connections are installed for caravans and a place is reserved for pouring the contents of the chemical toilets of caravans. The area can accommodate 25 caravans and 30 tents. A part of the car camp is also a kiosk serving small snacks.

For hygiene serves a common social facility building, which has a section for men and a section for women. Contains wash basins, showers, toilet, urinals. But also a room with an automatic washing machine, where visitors can wash their little things.
Cottages are divided into several categories according to the facilities.
The cheapest are "Garden cottages" and cottages of the type "Ba22" or "OSADA" equipped with beds, wardrobe, table and the appropriate number of chairs without sanitary facilities. There is a common bathroom for these cottages.

The most expensive are cottages with full bathroom (toilet, shower) and kitchen (sink, electric cooker, refrigerator, dishes, dining sets). One of these chat rooms is wheelchair accessible. Of course, every cottage's equipment is bed linen.

The reception
it is possible to rent board games, but also badminton, or a ball for volleyball, or soccer, or football. If someone wants to sit by the fire or roast a sausage in the evening, there is a central fireplace for them.
It is possible to make calls from the reception area, which visitors are less likely to use today due to their own mobile phones. Although not every operator has a good signal in the autocamp.
Refreshment
A part of the car camp is also a kiosk serving small snacks. The grocery store is about 2 km away in Sternberg. Restaurant and pension "U ZLATÉHO MUFLONA" is about 500m (the back gate shortens the distance to about 300m), then "Lišákova Nora", or a restaurant in the city.
Transport
To get to the camp from the station you can either go by yourself and keep the Sitka river straight, or by a line bus on the line "Šternberk aut.nádr. -Dalov-Upper Shipyard ".The railway station is located next to each other.
Motorized tourists coming from directions from Olomouc, Opava, Uničov or Litovle will follow the traffic signs in the direction of "RÝMAŘOV" to the roundabout under the Rýmařov hill. There, they orient themselves with the direction sign "AUTOKEMP". It is located under the DALOV direction sign.
