Kunčice and surroundings
The village of Kunčice is located in the Olomouc Region, Šumperk District. It lies north of the Old Town below Sněžník at a distance of about 3 km. It is a picturesque valley between the area of Kralický Sněžník and the Rychlebské mountains. The stay is suitable due to the untouched landscape, in which there are countless free meadows, extensive slopes, many large - deep and rugged forests, untouched civilizations. The whole area is characterized by beautiful scenery with many views of the valley, magical valley trails with crystal streams and clear streams.
Untouched nature, clean air and significant climatic conditions ensure cleanliness of all kinds: air, soil and water. It is not for nothing that the whole of the Czech Republic is recovering in the area, but also Central Europe, mainly with respiratory problems, but also with the locomotor system, on which they specialize in the nearby spa of the founder Vincenzo Priessnitz.
There are also the spa Velké Losiny - about 30 km, spa Bludov - about 41 km, Schroth's spa Dolní Lipová - about 35 km.

Kralický Sněžník
The dominant feature of the Old Town is Kralický Sněžník (1424 m above sea level), on the top of which there used to be a lookout tower. The wide surroundings are dominated by a statuette of an elephant, which enjoys a view of Hrubý Jeseník, the Eagle Mountains, the Giant Mountains and the Polish Owl Mountains throughout the year. Be sure not to miss this view either. The Kralický Sněžník National Nature Reserve is the cradle of the largest Moravian river in Moravia, located in the central and peak part of the eponymous mountain range, which covers an area of 1695 ha. On the border with Poland rises Mount Klepý, which is an important European watershed of three seas.
Old Town under Sněžník (distance 3,5 km)
In the Old Town, whose origins date back to 1324, many historical monuments have been preserved. These include, in particular, the late Renaissance church of St. Anny from 1618, an early Baroque town hall from 1680, modified to its current form in 1895, a fountain with Neptune and a number of original burgher houses. Tourists and visitors to the Old Town have the opportunity to get acquainted with its history in the museum exhibition, which introduces the history, culture and nature of the Old Town.

Kladsk saddle (distance 10 km)

Handmade paper production, founded between 1591 and 1596. Paper is also produced for the presidential office.
This traditional handmade paper production is unparalleled in Europe and in 2001 it was declared a National Cultural Monument.
Dlouhé stráně pumping hydroelectric power station (distance 47 km)
The most powerful pumped storage hydroelectric power plant in the Czech Republic with an elevation gain of 510,7 m.
Construction began in 1978 and was completed in 1996. In 2005, it became one of the 7 greatest wonders of the Czech Republic and one of the most important monuments. Whoever visits will not regret it. We recommend ordering a lecture with a tour.
