Ski Resort Bouřňák
The most famous downhill skiing center in Teplice is undoubtedly the ski resort of Bouřňák. The mountain of Bouřňák (869 m. M.) Offers excellent snow conditions in winter and therefore there were built six slopes (1 light, medium difficulty 4 and 1 heavy) which will surely satisfy both beginners and experienced skiers. In the top part, an old beech tree, deformed by wind, spreads into special shapes. These so-called "Buky na Bouřňáku" were declared a natural monument. At the top of the Bouřňák is the tourist chalet Karel Lím from 1928.

Altenberg Ski Resort
The Altenberg Ski Resort is located in the German part of the Ore Mountains, 5 km behind Cínovec in the direction of Dresden. Its cross-border location is a frequent and popular destination not only for German but also for Czech skiers. The top of Altenberg's home mountain, Raupennest, is at an altitude of 850 meters and offers skiers about a half-kilometer-long ski slope where snow is almost always guaranteed. Good snow conditions also support technical snow. The illuminated downhill runs 500 meters long. The secondary area of Geising has two lifts (550 ma 610 m) and also a minivle for children and beginners. Ski rentals and a ski school are also available at the resort.

Aquapark Raupennest Altenberg
Raupennest Altenberg is actually a rehabilitation clinic with very hot thermal water and a small but very nice sauna world. There are no toboggans or other attractions like the aquapark. Here are some hot pools, a whirlpool, an outdoor pool, saunas and massages. The underground thermal water is beautifully warm, which is particularly appreciated in the winter. In winter, therefore, we can ski on nearby slopes and then warm up in the pools. Prices are very favorable.

Mikulovská štola
The Lehnschafter Stoll is one of the most extensive and oldest mining works in the old ore district in Mikulov near Teplice. In the Lehnschafter, silver ore has been mined since 13. century and ended here around 1851. The mine has a total of 12 floors and is almost 250 meters deep. A great experience is a tour of the 14 mine corridors. - 16. century. The corridors are 1,2 meters high and maximum 1 meters wide. You will go through the medieval staircase and gradually through all the spaces that are currently accessible. The real surprise awaits you after 250 meters of walk where a reconstruction of a mining machine powered by a water wheel was made. The machine is fully functional and you have the opportunity to see not only the machine itself, but also an experienced mechanic at work, which will bring this medieval device with pleasure.
