Vojta's Mill Recreation Center
A mill was built in 1631 on the river Javorníci by a pond called Dolejší. Among other things, the miller Vojtěch Šrajer rented it, according to which it has been called Vojtův ever since. In 1964, the then Czech Landing and Coal Plants began to build a pioneer camp on land near the mill. Later, the homestead of Vojta's mill was adapted.
The recreation center is used mainly for children's recreation, such as outdoor schools, school trips, summer camps, adaptation courses, etc.
Capacity of the whole area
Currently, there are 2 camps, connected by a bridge and a footbridge over Javornice, with a total capacity of 164 places. In one part of the camp there is a kitchen with a dining room and a toilet, a building of a sanitary facility with a toilet, showers with hot water, barrier-free access to the toilet and a shower for wheelchairs. In this part of the camp there are 10 wooden cottages equipped with two bunk beds, ie a total of 4 people, 4 large cottages with private toilet and shower with hot water, of which 2 for 8 people and 2 for 10 people, 3 cells for a total of 8 people and 2 brick cottages, each for 8 people, with private toilet, shower with hot water, equipped with electric double cooker, refrigerator and electric heating. In the outdoor area there are swings, a carousel, climbing frames and a fenced fireplace with benches. In the second part of the camp there are 16 wooden cottages, each for 4 people and sanitary facilities (washbasins, toilets) only with cold water, a fenced fireplace with wooden seats, a concrete table tennis table, Russian skittles and an iron structure with climbing frames.
Sports activities in the area
There are football, volleyball and football pitches. There is a large meadow under the dam of the pond. Throughout the season, a large party tent with an area of 60 m2 is built, equipped with folding tables with benches. A large hall from the former barn in the mill yard is used for larger joint events, and in its basement there is a small common room for 20 people.
The pond by the mill has an area of 4 ha, on its shore there is a sandy beach with gradual access to the water, a fenced area for non-swimmers, there is a laminate raft. Other ponds in the vicinity can also be used for swimming.
