Southern Bohemia is one of the most beautiful corners of the Czech Republic with plenty of ponds. We invite you to stay in this wonderful area. Our camp is situated on the bank of Staňkovský pond, in the village of Staňkov distant less than 3 km northeast of the town of Chlum near Trebon. The campsite provides accommodation types such as cabins, caravans, caravan and caravan areas, and camping sites (tents).
Our camp is situated on the banks of the Staňkovský, in the village Stankov far less than 3 km northeast of Chlum Trebon.
Staňkovský pond has a sandy bottom and is largely surrounded by deep forests. Its right bank forms the natural border with Austria. The water surface has 241 ha and the pond circumference is 21 km. With its length 7 km is the longest South Bohemian pond. It stands out at the height of the 18 dam and has a depth below the dam that reaches 15 m. It is therefore the deepest pond and retains the largest amount of water. It is sought after for recreation and sport fishing.
The emergence of community Stankov dates back to 16. century and its history is intertwined with the city Chlum
near Třeboň. Nowadays, the village is a popular recreation area. Tramps, holidaymakers, tourists, cyclists, mushroom pickers and fishermen will come here.
Kemp spreads out on a vast meadow and in an adjacent tree stand where you can hide before the noon sun. Capacity is 100 tents or caravans. You can also rent our fully equipped caravan, cabin, several caravans or the comfort of a private apartment.
You can find our walled bathroom, toilet, shower with hot water, children's playground, a volleyball and table tennis tables. Of course there are electrical connections and separated from the water in the lower part of the camp along the fence. In addition, you can take advantage of our rental boats and pedal boats.
Staňkovský obíbeným pond has become a haven for anglers. Typical catches include the carp, bighead carp, eel, tench, catfish, pike, perch and bass. Fishermen are required to purchase a permit and must comply with Staňkovským fishing regulations. The fishing ponds are also suitable Governor and New Kanclíř or Tušťské sand.
