Jan Hus's native house
It is a Gothic - Renaissance house no. 36, which was in the second half of 19. century rebuilt into its original form. In 1952, a memorial with an exhibition of life and work by Master Jan Hus was built in this house.
In addition to the museum exhibition there is a library and study room in the house. In 1991, the ideological totalitarian parts were removed from the monument and the memorial hall was enlarged by the gallery of the painter Josef Krejz, the Hussite native.
On the Husine Square there is the monument of Master Jan Hus, made in 1958. Jan Hus's native house was declared a National Cultural Monument in 1978.

Husinecká dam
The dam on the Blanici river between Husinec and Prachatice (about 5 km north) is one of the oldest in southern Bohemia.
Its construction was started in 1934. The main purpose of the construction was to protect Husine and other municipalities from floods. The lake formed behind the dam is captured and still captures large amounts of water during the spring melting.
The dam was completed in 1939 and its basic use was gradually added.
