Are you looking for a comfortable travel bed for camping? If you want to replace a suitable mat or a creaking air mattress for something more robust - try some of the folding beds. Of course, this is not an option for everyone, for several reasons. Thanks to its weight (approx. 7 kg), you will probably not carry it in a backpack, so it is not suitable for hiking and camping in small tents. And its size after disassembly is the reason why you do not tuck it into a small tourist tent. For those of you who have a larger family tent, however, it can become a bed on which you can finally sleep comfortably. In addition to camping, we also use it as an emergency bed for unexpected visits. Once folded, it is small, so you can stick it under the bed or in the cellar and its assembly is a matter of a few minutes.
Several types of folding beds are sold on the market, which at first glance look almost identical. Beware, however, of suspiciously cheap models that have a lower load and their workshop lags behind the ideas of good quality. The cost of the durable model is in doubt at prices from 1200 CZK. For this amount you will get a sunbed with a carrying capacity of 120 kg and above, which will be packed in a zipper with carrying straps. Also pay attention to the dimensions. It is best to buy a longer variant - 210 c, m, which is also suitable for people with higher growth and is not much bigger than the usual 190 cm version. Most models are approx. 70-72 cm wide and area for lying is approx. 45 cm above the ground. The construction is made of ALU profiles mostly on the side of 3 cm. The cover is made of polyester in blue or green, which can not be removed and washed from the deck, but can be easily cleaned with a classically damp cloth with soapy water.

What I especially appreciate about this type of camping bed is the speed of layout and composition. You don't have to look for a pump to inflate and then annoy you. You simply take the lounger out of the bag, unfold it in a few movements and final stretch the loading area by clicking on the two switch-off ALU profiles at each end of the lounger. The only thing you really have to be careful about is that you do not pinch your fingers in the structure when folding and unfolding. Then you just place it in the desired place. The six standing legs are covered with end caps at the ends, so there is no risk of damaging the floor or floor. After packing, the lounger has an elongated shape of approximately 110 x 20 x 10 cm, so you can easily put it in the trunk of a smaller car.
And the final evaluation? If you are looking for a comfortable bed for one, it can serve you great. Unfortunately, this is not a suitable choice for couples who are involved in the transmission of genetic information on vacation, among other things. But I also saw that it was used by fishermen or caravans who slept on it in Greece by a caravan outside under an awning. And it is also very popular at mass events, races, etc. where you need to accommodate a larger number of people.
