This trip was originally to start with autoplains from Vienna to Livorno, but at the last minute they told us that we had a too high car even though we had been informed about it a month ago if it was not a problem and it was not ... what else. Who knows us knows that circus and merry-go-round are our passion so surprised that our sightseeing tour of Corsica and Sardinia began in the amusement park Gardaland near Verona, near Lake Garda. We always plan our journeys so that Leonard sleeps most of the way on the highway so we leave the house around 5 pm. Three watches are just behind Vienna where the crew is already sleeping on the highway, the bed is decomposed, and the small one falls asleep within ten km. I can easily drive to the other night, what most will do about 600km so we woke up in the morning near Verona.

Such a stop has two advantages. You can get some rest from bored traveling on the highway that we just wanted to avoid with autopsy, and secondly there are smiling children's eyes that do not overcome anything. So it's the first thing. :-) Gardaland is a huge amusement park for which you certainly need more than a day extra in its surroundings are other parks whether stunt, knightly or aquapark. I've done it all a few years ago when Leonard was not even planning, and this time it was really just a nice stop.

From Gardaland again by night shift about 300km to Savona where a ferry to Bastia in Corsica was waiting for us the next morning. We use a ferry tickets order Directferries which also has a good application that can be paid via Paypal. Thanks to this page, we came up with the fact that it is better to take 50km away from Jan, from which it is also possible to get to Corsica but much more expensive than Savona.

Corsica welcomed us with brutal heat so we chose to find a beach where we refresh and sleep. Bastia is a port city that did not make us any more so we headed south. We found a sandy beach, but it was a problem finding a place where we could stay overnight. After a long search, we eventually docked in front of a resort. Corsica has beaches covered by ramps and everything is here to someone, so it has a fence. Forget showers on the beach.

In the morning we went to the beach of the resort before which we slept and surprisingly no one minded. They also rented jet skis on the beach, so I went to ask. The guy obviously understood me English but answered French so great fun. I don't know French or "ň". In the end, we agreed, and Leonard showed again how everything that moves soothes him and fell asleep while driving on water.

We did not like this part, so we chose cross across the island on the west coast to Porto. This is a wonderful way to go inland where you have to go back several times in front of a bus or truck because you can not get into the corner but it is worth it. You will climb to the area of the earthquake where it looks like in our country in the Tatras just in place of sheep and chamois are grazing small black pigs.

The town of Porto is magical and so small that the bikes that we have laid down were stopped and locked after a hundred meters because it made no sense to use them. In the harbor, we have arranged a boat cruise tour around the cliffs that are amazing and the caves through which they will take you. Little, of course, fell asleep again. I have another day of diving and we parked in the park just outside the small town. Out of season, no one has solved it but I think it will be a problem this season. There is also a pebble beach in the town and it is very comfortable here.

Our journey continued on the western coast that could not be reached so another million turns inland to the city Ajaccio but we left faster than we came here. Catastrophic traffic jams in the city that did not make any difference to us. We also cleared the Napoleon home and continued to the south, where we discovered the forgotten beach that we left for the evening.

In Corsica, as well as in Sardinia, it has to be cleared on the west coast and kept on the east. An exception is probably the above-mentioned town of Porto and the way to it. I've been dragging for a long time in the hope that we will arrive to the all-roaming beach of Santa Giulia. We managed and appreciated that we did not take the garden to the roof. There is an entrance on the parking lot like a gate that has a underground height of two meters, and you can not get there with a houseboat or a larger van. Our Mickey was just getting up there. The beaches in the east are like postcards. More is azure, white sand, prices in bars and astronomical restaurants. Anyway, it's beautiful and overnight overnight in a perfectly equipped camp at quite affordable prices. Here we also met the Bohemians who were here at Viane, who basically brought us to the car we have now.

Our journey was only midway and Sardinia was waiting for us. Through the application we have in the camp they booked ticket to the ferry and in the evening moved to Bonifacia. It is a historic city with everything. In the evening, we went to the bikes to the lighthouse to the right of the picture with the rack posing to us and then to see the historic center where we had the last dinner in Corsica. We slept directly in the port in front of the dock.
