Winter hiking - hike to the Brdo lookout tower

The tourist season does not necessarily have to be only during the summer, for example for me (and I believe that for many of you) it is all year round. So I started this season in February, by hiking to Brdo with my friend. On Tuesday 13.2. we went on such a small hike - the first "gauge" for this year. At 10 in the morning we arrived in the small village of Roštín (after the previous trip by bus / train). And we set off in the direction of Brdo. Right at the beginning of the trip, I successfully missed the turn to the green route. Fortunately, I found out in time or the golden Mapy.cz

At 12: 20 we arrived at Brdo, where we had a good lunch and a little break before going back. The surroundings were beautifully snowy, but we were not cold.

Then we continued towards Vlčák. The original route was supposed to lead back to Roštín, but in the end we extended the route a bit and walked to Střílek, where we arrived around 14.30 pm.

The trip was very pleasant and the weather worked out for us :) I recommend everyone to take a small snowy walk at least once a year, it has its charm. You just need to dress well and not underestimate the equipment in the form of a hot drink and something small to bite into to supply energy.

Note The disadvantage of this route was that the green route at Střílky crosses the speedway - which is quite unpleasant and dangerous.
