Monday - we start the day by swimming in the pool and find out that the only couple who also swim here are Czechs who came for wine. Today, no monuments are planned, only the last aqueduct with a waterfall in Gemenos. So we came across guides on the net, the aqueduct is on private land, it is about 50 years old and the waterfall has a height of less than 3 meters :-(
It is true that the lady at the Infocenter wondered why we were looking for it. We end up with history and go down to the sea. We sail in the sea at La Ciotat and in the afternoon we find ourselves Camping in Saint Cyr sur Mer. It is without a pool, but the beach is only 50 meters from the entrance, so the rest of the day we just roll by the sea. We go most of our way according to a rough plan, but we turned yesterday. When moving from Saint Chamas to Aix, Janinka suddenly says: "over there on the horizon it looks interesting" and so on the first turn left we go to Éguilles. The historic town is all on the hill. We leave the car down on the edge of Rue d´Aix, where the parking lot is last, and walk up to the town hall at the highest point of the city. History breathes from the building, so I can't do it and I climb inside to walk it all the way to the ground, beautiful. Meanwhile, a gypsy wedding is gathering outside, we are also next to the church, so we do not know whether to watch the dressed participants or enjoy the beautiful view. On the way back to the car, we go through other alleys until we come across a bunch of asphalters who are laying a new carpet across the entire width of the street. Sidewalks nowhere, warm soft asphalt, no way to walk. I'll skip it somehow, but they take Janinka in their arms and transfer them to a safe place - that's service.
