It should be said at the outset that I started actively riding a mountain bike only this year, while my longest route was just at the Cyklo Fanatik "Pohodář" event, 42 km long, which I also completed with my 10-year-old daughter. This event took place on June 22. Since then, MTB has caught me and I started riding more and more. In addition, many friends went to more exhibitions this year and I wanted to try how well I was, because the idea of participating in a race attracts me. The "cool" route was to serve as a "Challenge" for comparison. I also invited my friend Míla to the challenge, who rode a Giant ...
Start and finish at Šídlovák Ranch
The meeting was at the start according to the route "Cyklo fanatik - pohodář" at the Šídlovák ranch, we wanted to copy the route exactly. Mila arrives, we say a few words and we go. The first section led through the Krkavec lookout tower. The worst section of the climb, which I have never trodden before. Now yes !!!

It was too much for Mila on Fulla, so I waited for him right at the lookout tower. We took a few minutes and we keep going ... 
According to the original route, the stop was in Horní Bříza. But we missed it and keep going at a brisk pace. The route is more suitable for hardtails, but it did not matter to Mila and boldly kept pace .. Half of the route was through dirt roads, sometimes asphalt. However, then we had to climb again to the ravine lookout, but now from the opposite side. There was a milder climb, but longer. We had a fight and without jumping from the fable we had it.

Now the rest of the route, which was less demanding, awaits us. The last 10 km we've done it and we put everything into it. Passage around the pond and direction Šídlovák ..
Upon arrival, I fall off my bike and stop the "trackers" to measure the route ..

Space for improvement
- Miles should have Hardtail next time. Celopéro is uphill slower. Here we could save 10 minutes +
- One pause was not needed at all. Even though there would be no photo :))
- More rest before such a Challenge (we both had a bike in the body the day before)
- In the autumn I often spruce my oxygen when I go almost to 100% and sometimes I had to stop and blow my nose :))
- 2x or 3x we descended from the track and had to return, which took us about 5 minutes and we lost speed ..: O)
Then deserved refreshment right at the ranch Šídlovák ..
