While completing a cycling tour around the river Elbe, I visited the Děčín camp, which is unusually situated under the new bridge, where the famous Elbe road intersects with the Ploučnice cycle path. Here are my experiences from the camp, where I spent a total of three nights ...

The location of the camp is very unconventional
The Děčín camp is really atypically situated under a busy bridge in Děčín, with the Elbe on one side and the Ploučnice river on the other. The location of the camp is ideal for people who come here by bike and want to spend only one night. For those who come for more days and want to relax here, the place of the camp is not exactly ideal, because the noise of passing cars above you is really great.

However, the equipment of the camp is in first place and there is almost nothing wrong with it. I especially appreciated the practical indoor yurt shelter, which is for up to 60 people. I was in the camp when it was raining and I could go to the yurt tent and sit down and write my travel notes in the heat and dryness. If the weather is really bad outside, then such a large shelter in the camp area is priceless. 
Lockable boxes
Another added value of the camp is a bicycle storage room, which I appreciate as a cyclist. When you go for a walk from the camp without a bike, you don't have to worry or worry about your one-footed pet. You simply put it here in a lockable box, which is free and you can still charge your mobile phone or camera there, as the box also has an electrical outlet. 
. The storage has a total capacity of 40 bikes, so you don't have to worry about locking your bike against a fence or a free-standing tree overnight.
Supply is in the camp area
When I came to the camp, I already had over a hundred kilometers on my bike, so I'm always happy when there is a restaurant or a small shop in the camp . And there were both, so I could buy basic packaged food and different kinds of tasty sandwiches right away. I then bought a grilled sausage at the kiosk and ordered a hearty breakfast in the morning at an affordable price
. I love coffee, so I always appreciate the well-prepared black drink, which was also in the Děčín camp, I had quality coffee in the local roastery, which is called Caffe 08.
The overall impression
In the end, I will evaluate the camp in short words, which immediately occurred to me when I left the camp after three days with satisfaction. Camp Děčín, it is simply a camp, where there are exemplary clean bathrooms, exemplary equipped kitchen, everywhere is luxuriously close to the beautiful sights of Děčín, large grassy areas, varied dining table, excellent security and security of the camp, close to the bike path, great noise of passing cars bizarre spaces under the bridge ..
