I would like to share in you my positive experience with the Husky Bolen family tent. I believe that you will appreciate the description from the user who is really actively using the tent and it is not just an artificial PR article, which are clouds on the Internet. This one family tent we decided to buy before our trip to Slovenia. We just love camping and active holidays, children are still old when they are interested in this type of holiday. Unfortunately, our older tent from Ferrino - Shaba 4 has no size or design to meet our needs.

Husky Bolen - tentHusky Bolen there is a tent that has a Husky mark on offer about 3 years and they make it in a veriant for 4 or five people. We are four, but in the end we have chosen a variant for 5 people because we like more space and spare space. At first glance, the tents are almost identical. The 4 variant has only two bedrooms as wide as the Bolen 5 has one bedroom wider. Here we are self-absorbed - our parents, because in addition to the double inflatable mattress in it on the sides you can give even more clothes, a suitcase backpack or other accessories. The children's bedroom is narrower, so you usually only put your two mattresses on it. I'm going back to those bedrooms. Separate bedrooms were actually the main reason why we made this model. Do not take a look at the luxury of a gypsum board. The compartment is designed only with a nylon screen. It is more a psychological obstacle, but if you want to read in the evening or to quietly devote yourself to the creation of another sibling, it is enough. This is how it is solved for the vast majority of family tents. The great thing is the variability, quick installation of the partition, which you can simply remove and create one large bedroom.

And how does the tent stand?  A large "tag" is sewn on the inside of the tent package, on which there are simple instructions for construction. According to them, it can be easily done in two people in a few minutes. The tent does not have a dome structure with a cross between the bars, which is actually self-supporting, but a tunnel structure. Therefore, it is better if it is built by two people. You will first unpack the main part of the tent and lay it out at your camping site. Here we were afraid for the first time that we had bought a real hangar. The floor plan of the Bolen 5 tent is a respectable 470 x 335 cm. Eventually, however, you will find that it is not such a large area, unless you subsequently use too long anchor cords. You leave the floor, which is connected to the main tent, loose, not pinned. This is because you must first slide the three main arched structural bars into the structure. These are durable duralumin with solid metal couplings and terminals. They are best pushed through the tunnels in pairs. Then you place the tent exactly in place, pin the floor in the corners and turn off the tent to the desired shape. I will add that there are really a lot of anchoring cords, and in the end we didn't even use them all. That is all. Three bars, clouds of cables and pins, but the construction is simple.

What amuse me with this family tent?  Space .. And especially the hall. I am 183 cm and so I am convinced that I can stand in it and I do not have to crouch, because it is 190 cm high along its entire length. In addition, it has an integrated floor, which you can cover with a carpet or mat for better protection. We could fit a fridge, a chair, a camping kitchen, dishes, food and many other camping "clutter" and there was still enough space for the children to play there. And between the two bedrooms is a panel with a binder - pockets into which you can put a lot of things.

Stan Bolen from Husky in GreeceEntrance to the tent is possible from two sides. The front is huge, over almost the entire length of the front wall. It is zipped and can be secured with Velcro. If you don't want it to just flutter in the wind, you can roll it up and secure it there. Here I would see perhaps the only mistake in the beauty of this otherwise great family tent. You can turn the entrance either on the tarpaulin or through a foil window. I'd rather regret the transparent foil that you may use for a view in the rain, but a mesh mosquito net would be more practical for ventilation. We did not use the side entrance to the tent, not far from it is an outlet for electrical cables for your refrigerator, laptop or other appliances. Another good tweak. The floor at the entrances to the tent is raised about 10 cm, probably so that the wind does not drive leaves and other dirt into it. This is great, but also keep in mind that if you stretch a mess or sand from the beach, you simply won't sweep it away. So be sure to take a broom and a shovel with you.

Because we use the tent mainly in the south of Europe,. in Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, we have not yet had to deal with any extreme precipitation. But during a sudden storm in the Slovenian camp Belverere, it survived, so about Husky with the parameters of 3000 mm outer tent and 5000 mm water column, the floor probably does not lie. It is simply a spacious family tent, designed for those who go on holiday by car (you will definitely not put it in your backpack) and want to stay in one place for 1-2 weeks and have it as a comfortable base.

Where to buy it? Usually, all e-shops with outdoor and, of course, Husky directly on their website offer it for the same price. Sometimes, however, some sellers give him a mattress or camping chairs as a gift. Take a look at, for example:
