All articles_button

If you want to experience a beautiful and adventurous Saturday or Sunday, bake the cutlets, put them in a backpack, put on proper shoes in nature and go on a trip just outside Tišnov to Trenck's gorge. You will have to overcome a lot of pitfalls and obstacles and you will also test your courage, for example when descending from a rock with the help of a chain or a climbing rope, which are attached to the rock with staples. However, the reward will be a view of a beautiful waterfall set in a rock gorge. If you think that one is not enough, you can climb a strong rope along the side of a rock over this large waterfall and as a bonus you will see several smaller waterfalls ...wink

How to get to Trenck Gorge?

It is best to come by car to the village of Drahonín (about 13 km from Tišnov), park in the village square and then just decide which way to go. It is possible to go more comfortable, but longer, or the shorter, but more adventurous, 2,5 km long. The more comfortable one will go up the forest path, which will lead you to a red sign running along the water and you will walk straight to Trenck's gorge. The more challenging road is then situated in the direction of Šafránkův mlýn, you follow the asphalt road to the crossroads and turn right onto the forest road. After a while you will come across a red sign and it will take you to Trenck's gorge. If you choose this more challenging path, be prepared that you will have to climb and climb fallen trees, jump between twigs and carefully tread in the muddy path so that you do not fall. The last section is on a rock where you hold on to the chain so you don't fall. If you have small children, you better avoid this road and walk around the dirt road until you come across a red tourist sign that runs along the river Bobrůvka, see. map up to the gorge ...Yes

In Trenck's gorge you will see a painted portrait of Baron Franz von der Trenck and it is definitely worth reading his biography. You sit on benches and strengthen yourself with cuttings. Many people who go to the gorge have no idea that there is a waterfall. The sign will not take you to it and you will not even hear it, because the river Bobrůvka flows around the gorge and it will make so much noise that the waterfall cannot be heard ..cheeky

So head to the nearby educational board and on the right side you will come across a stream, which will lead you to waterfalls. When you enjoy the view of the waterfall, you can climb on the left side with the help of a rope above the waterfall, where you will see other smaller waterfalls, it is really worth it.smiley
