During our trips to camps abroad, we belong to those who use only one word for vacation. WELLNESS. And in my opinion, that includes comfortable sitting by the tent with good food and drink. I don't like getting out of my sleeping bag every morning at 7 am and trying to live the whole vacation to the max. Since we mostly go to the Balkans, we got a little taste of the carefree and lifestyle of the locals and of course their cuisine. That's why we included a grill in our equipment for this year's stay in Greece. You might shake your head, but what better describes well-being than sitting with grilled fish and good wine in a campsite by the sea? 

Do not be afraid to include the grill in your campsite. We also looked at Italy, the Rivers and the Germans during their previous holidays, from whose tents the scent of grilled delicacies. You do not have to carry any big monsters with you. Currently, there are also a few types on the market that occupy about as much space as a laptop case.

Barbecue in the campYou can also find charcoal in the offer of most shops that are part of the campsites, so the charcoal model seems to be the best choice. There is also a place in the row of campsites where you can host a BBQ party in communal concrete grills. But it's often crowded there, so it's better to be different and have your own charcoal grill. Many campers do not allow it because of the specific smell that this type of grill gives to the prepared meat. The truth is that this type is also the most used, especially in campsites in the south of Europe. Yes, I was also surprised that in countries where forest fires occur every year, this is tolerated. When smoke covered half of the campsite during this year's vacation, I expected the roar of firefighting hydroplanes, but it was not a fire, but a normal barbecue of a large Serbian family. Stackable charcoal grills are produced in a case or spherical design and are absolutely sufficient for a normal family of 4. If you're camping by the sea, you can try stopping by the local market or harbor to buy fresh fish. Some campsites even have local fishermen come by and offer their catch. Then all you need is a little salt, rosemary and olive oil, and the delicacy is ready.

If you have a paid electricity connection at the campsite, you can take an electric grill with you. That's what we did this year too. Although the meat will not have such a specific smell, you will be ready to use almost immediately. You can also grill cheese on it, or make oxeyes and toasts. There are no limits to imagination. In the Mediterranean, you can also find ready-made semi-finished products for grilling in supermarkets - hamburgers, chevabčići, meat and the already mentioned fish. And often at very favorable prices.

Another option is gas cartridge grill. These models are for example Campingaz. In this case, it is usually not a classic grill, but a stove over which a burner is placed only with a grill hot plate. This is also an interesting and convenient solution because you are using the stove while camping. That is what you need Party Grill 200 Stove.

I do not know what your barbecue experience is in Czech camps. For me, I suspect that even if the campsite operator tolerates it, the neighboring campers may be looking at you through your fingers. But if you're going to the sea, I'd definitely recommend it to include the cruise on the list of things you need for a vacation.
