Both shower and domestic water in campervan

There is never enough water on the road and I already feel that I am obsessed with finding an ideal solution. For those approx. For six years of traveling in the vans, I have replaced all the available options to store and use water for washing and showering, and I am still not completely satisfied.

At Mitsubishi, I was pulling a pump and a solar shower in the canister under the car. It was enough to start. The pump regularly caught the fake air not knowing how to stretch the water and, moreover, was eating electricity that I was still lacking due to the poorly designed refrigerator. The water did not replenish because I did not know when the canister is full and it regularly leaked into my car when pouring. The solar shower was a disaster to transport. You get it all over the car when you fill it all up so you can't take it in one hand because it has 20kg and it also tears when you least need it. When we had no garden, there was often a problem where to hang it. It just went wrong.

In Mercedes I was the first to come up with the idea of placing water in the oven on the roof. The garden on the roof I did not want after the experience of Mitsubishi, so I was looking for another attachment and I thought to use the carrier on the bikes that we always have on the way back on the back door. I made the 63mm waste pipes (can be glued) by using the elbows and dots to fit the upper part of the carrier and attach it more tightly for sure as the cell structure is firmly mounted between the carrier structure. You cannot remove a carrier without removing it. I sprayed it all on silver, the water would be hot in black. As a valve I used a drain valve to the boilers. It has a rubber hose outlet that is easy to put on and cannot be opened without a small key so that no good water can be released from it. I closed the filling hole with a rubber stopper from a torn solar shower. There was exactly 8 liters of water, or 8 kg, which the carrier can easily carry, and that it's at the top of the door opening is not a big problem. Over time we have come up with two things. The 8 liter is for two little and we do not need shower water as often as I still drag it back. Not that we didn't shower, but mostly we found another option. In addition, the water was poorly replenished and I still had to carry a canister (though folding) to pour. So the whole system is in the basement.

Another idea was to solve the shower with a shower with a shower that you can use at the river, or right on the beach where there is no shower. I like multifunctional things so the basin under the umbrella serves as a water tank. I chose to fit the height of my suitcase in the suitcase. It has 17 liters, so the water is already plentiful and I use the strap from the laptop bag for carrying it because you already feel it in your hand. I had to increase the opening to fit the shower pump and use the stopper made of cardboard packaging for posters as a cap. The shower can be attached to the window with a suction cup and the water can be stopped by turning the hand shower. This will not turn off the pump, but the battery that is there will last four of our shower and charge via USB so that anytime during the trip and from when we have the solar as well as while standing. This system has proven quite successful, so we still use it. The shower pump has a dimension that fits from the DIN96 hole so I can use it with the new one I last bought.

PORTABLE SHOWERS

As I mentioned, I probably have an obsession about water so I bought a folding mobile shower on the principle of water pressure a month ago. It is basically a pressure bag that you inflate with a foot pump and hold the spray in your hand to stop the water flow. So far we have not much tested in practice, so we will see how it works. There are many such mobile showers, but only Brunner has a foot pump. We only have the best experience with the Brunner brand. Whether cooker, chair, or trash can. Everything perfectly tuned. And I find it almost all right :-)

The idea of a pressure vessel has been holding me for a long time and after we used a pressure vessel for spraying the plants, which we have proven to be very good, I decided to make one. That why, when what we have proved to be? Because I have ..... and in addition, the size of the container did not fit me and five liters is little. At first I thought I would replace it with the above-mentioned shower (which could still happen) but then I found the 12 liter canister that fits exactly behind the passenger seat, has a hose connection valve, a pressure relief outlet and a DIN96 hole so electric shower pump. Well, can I not use it? I can't even though I still can't get it to my satisfaction. The first idea was to use a pump for blowing handrails. Everything would be fine if there was a glue sticking to it that would also seal me. Sikaflex is short for this. I still have to think of something because it always breaks down with use. Otherwise it would be great. At the bottom, I connected an unused shower hose and screwed a bidet spray on its end, instead of a shower, as the water stream can be stopped as well as the Brunner shower. In addition, it is nice chrome. :-) For 6eur, no buy it. (Buy here)

The second attempt to make a pressure shower was helped hand pumps for 5 liter bottles for water. I have not yet solved the seal here, but it's working on it ... :-)

So much for my utility water peripetia in the car ... winksmiley
