For us who are heading for the sea, Slovenia is just a kind of transit in the sun to Croatia. But we must realize that Slovenia is a beautiful country full of beautiful lakes, caves, mountains and just about anything one could want for your vacation. Of course, it has a bit of the sea, but it is not yet used for recreation as in Croatia. For those of us who are heading to this small country, which has a population of around two million by caravan or motorhome, we must realize that so-called wild camping is prohibited here. You have to either go to the campsite or to a designated place. We'll see to the famous camp Šobec.

When I arrived at the campsite in July, I didn't make a reservation, I thought there would always be a place. It was a mistake, a big mistake angry. If the camp is full, there is a parking lot just above it, where you will be sent and where you will wait until the place becomes available. There is also an electricity connection in these places, so you who are not self-sufficient do not have to worry wink. But I didn't use it and I assured them in my German that I had a place in the camp to let me go. I was let go and I finally got to the reception, where there was already a queue of people asking to enter the camp, but in vain smiley. They were denied that the camp was full. I used my German because I lived in Germany for 11 years and told the receptionist that my friend was holding there. Yes

I paid and went to the camp, where my friend was really there, who had arrived a week in advance, but I couldn't find him. And so the vicissitudes began with the search for a place. frown I have a fairly large apartment building, so finding a piece of space was probably impossible. I already wanted to give it up and go home when ahoooj called me, I turn around and my friend Vašek, who shows me a place where I could stand. Finally, I say to myself, although it was forbidden for caravans and caravans, there were already two Belgians standing there and no one threw them out, so I stood next to them and it worked out. cool. Finally, there is peace and one begins to enjoy. The next day we left to Lake Bled. Something amazing, there is a bike path from the Šobec camp, although in the last part you have to drive on the road, but the drivers are very considerate. You can go around the lake, which is really breathtaking, you can also take a bath in it or climb to the castle that rises above the lake. But Slovenia has a lot of other beauties and we wanted to know as much as possible .. smiley

The next day we set off with a group from Karviná, who also came from the Šobec camp to the Vintgar competition wink. The road is quite challenging, still uphill, still and still and even though we had e-bikes, we were on the verge of strengthangel. We arrived at the parking lot and then hurried to the gorge, which is really beautiful. The clear, clear water that flows somewhere through the gap of the rocks will take your breath away heart. You keep going and giving, and without you noticing, you go down and down. The gorge is really so beautiful that you don't notice anything and observe the beauty around you with a camera or a camera in hand. When you finally reach the end of the road, the barrier will close behind you and you are at a stall where you can refresh yourself and drive back to the car park. And here is the problem ..

By not noticing the path that took you down a lot, you have to logically get back. But you do not follow the path, but endless stairs appear in front of you and you start to climb back again. But the way up is crazy and it's incredibly challenging. Therefore, you should keep in mind whether you can manage the climb back to your car or your bike. We met ruined retirees sitting in the woods, and we had our teeth full crying. The journey up the steep hill takes about an hour. Well, when we finally arrived, we were devastated, but excited by the beauty we saw smiley. And then the way back to the Šobec camp, which we also liked ...

A little about the Šobec camp + video

Very tastefully designed camp with a lake where you can bathe, nice restaurants and many activities for children. Pure social workers only added to the well-being. In two days the camp was depopulated and suddenly there was a lot of space, but I will recommend this camp after all. If you go there in the summer, book a place in the camp, otherwise you will face the same fate as me and you may not be lucky and find a place ...wink So I will really recommend the whole of Slovenia for your summer vacation, which you can spend rolling on the beaches or climbing the mountains to the Triglav National Park and the Vintgar gorges. So take a look at other travel stories from Obytnakem.net
