And here it is !! The weather in September wishes us, so we are planning a trip to the La Rocca campsite in Konstantinovy ​​Lázně again. This time already in full formation, even with his daughter. The last time we got there with bicycles was by train. This time we put it in full fire on bikes from Pilsen to the camp - 45 km. We are waiting for our daughter to get out of school, things packed and around 16.00 we leave. They reported rain today, but we hoped it would pass us by, which was a very distant reality.

We got wet twice and the girls got a shower

The weather looked promising at the start. The first kilometers were fine, there was no sign that he should want to. So we stop in Kozolupy and give kofola. Here I exchanged a few words with the pub, who asked where we were going. After my message, she wished us luck with the words that we might not get too wet. She looked a bit like a sorcerer . Which confirmed to me in 5 minutes, because it started to drizzle.

After a few kilometers of driving, the drizzle turned into a cheeky piss. Since we each had only one shoe with us, we prefer to stop and wait ..

It stopped a bit, so we move on. Just in front of a village, a car passes us. Borec tried to go completely to the other side to avoid us. Unfortunately, the pool that had formed from the rain flowed to his side. As he approached, I added to miss it. Unfortunately, the girls reacted like two grapes. It is both terrible and the other terrible . They reacted late and the passing car splashed them properly. I was very sorry. Specifically, I was sorry that I didn't have time to shoot or take a picture ..

After a heavy shower, we continue. It's slowly getting dark. On the way we stop and take pictures of the smoking mountains. These were the last remnants of light. Then the last sections of the forest and villages and in the dark awaited us. The night ride has its charm even though we saw shit. Not really, there were a lot of them on the forest trail ..

Does he have mud or shit on his helmet and face? That's the question.. Well, let's say it's mud.

Camp facilities and the use of a dryer under the sink

We arrive at the camp in the dark. In the pub / reception we collect the keys to the mobile home and we get refreshed for a reward. ;)

We had wet the shoes and there was no dryer in the mobile phone. Meanwhile, I find a warm place under the sink. So we put our shoes in there. Well, the end justifies the means.

The restaurant was already closed and we only had vifons (Chinese soups) with us. So I decided to cook "dinner" today ...

The girls, reinforced with a hearty dinner, give the leverage to show. The one who loses will cook dinner next time, even if I don't know how, because the siphons have run out.

Saturday at the campsite & accommodation and food

I wake up first in the morning, which is unusual, and I have coffee on the terrace. In this I see a "neighbor" running with the cones and laying them on the ground. It turned out that he is a passionate mushroom picker, who marks small mushrooms so that no one will step on them.

Accommodation in camp

We stayed in the mobile home we wanted, because in addition to all the equipment, it also has its own shower and it is priceless. . In Mobilák we lacked an electric kettle. However, I once brewed water for coffee in a casserole or pot. So I apply it now. So all of a sudden I look, the coffee tastes different and it foams more. I have a feeling that this is how I will make water for coffee at home, because it just tastes better.

The area is large and caravans, dwellings and tents were scattered throughout the camp.

I still have to brag about lunch from the camp restaurant. My daughter had a pizza and we had a Dutch steak. I ate it for the first time and certainly not for the last time. In addition, the price of around 120 CZK is more than good.

Events and activities around the camp

So first of all, I must mention that a meeting of American wrecks took place in the camp. Most of them were Corvettes, so I photographed as hired.

Shelby as from "Fast and Furious" was not to be missed ..

Even classics have found their place here. :)

The blue Corvette reminds me of the car Steve from Beverly Hills 90210 was driving ..

And a gorgeous Chevrolet Camaro at the end, my favorite. I assume it's a 1969 Camaro. I have a weakness for classic cars.

A tip for a cycling and hiking trip - NS Hradištský vrch

It only rained on Saturday morning, however, it disrupted my plans a bit. A few months ago, my Míša and I rode the Hradištský vrch Trail on a bicycle, but the girl doesn't get as involved as I did, so I didn't quite enjoy it. I got a second chance today. However, everything was wet and slippery, so it was a slight trouble and I drove like a jerk. I enclose a video and a link to the trail, which is intended mainly for hikers. Finally, about the camp La Rocca - other impressions

The whole week was nice, it just had to rain on our Saturday. In addition, we were there from Friday evening to Sunday morning, so we missed the other gems that the camp offers: swimming in the pool, or playing beach volleyball, tennis or ping-pong. The people in the camp are nice, including the bartender and the leader . Even though we didn't catch much, we don't regret it, because we will definitely return to the camp next year, but not only for the weekend. It is necessary to climb Konstantinky, hiking trails, maybe some bike trips and especially to swim in the pool ..
