Where in Liptov in winter - skiing

In the distance to 40km from Ruzomberok you will find several excellent ski resorts. I will start my favorite and it is him Kubínska Hoľa. In this center you will find everything that is here to be. The center is divided into the lower and upper parts. At the bottom they come to their beginners, children or people who love huge carvings. The ski slope is wide and there is a helmet and a seat on its top. So everyone chooses. Whoever likes steeper hills continues with another chair or two slow to the top of the hill. From there, there is the possibility to go down three slopes, one of which is a freeride area. So the freeride is all over the forest like we did for the young. Anyway, the main ski slope would not be ashamed of its width even in the Alps, and I have some slopes in the Alps already downhill. (Read here) There are many buffets and very nice service in them. I just love Kubinska how they printed on skipasses, which is best not to return and charge them out of the house. It's cheaper, you do not have to go to the cash registers and park the car park almost straight on the ski slope.

My second favorite is the second Martinské hole. It is a resort located above the city of Martin and access to it is limited by the use of snow chains or by car 4x4. They check it at the entrance so that nothing happens on the narrow road and some are discouraged. Anyway, this resort is definitely worth a visit. From the top of the hill where you can park with the car park you can choose either to a snowboard park or to one of the four ski slopes. One of them has a seat. Others are helpless. The slopes are not as wide as Kubinsky, but they are just enough for excellent running. It is also good for six-year-olds, so there is no extreme hill, but the more demanding skier is going to ride. Buffets are enough and the prices are pleasant. The downward limit is also true downwards in that it will not let you down before 13.00hod due to cars that are up. Personally, it never bothered me, but maybe count it. I also definitely recommend Martinice because of the beautiful view of the surrounding area and the natural snow, which is enough here.

Malino Brdo Resort is, so to speak, my birth center, as far as you can get to it from Hrabov, which is on the outskirts of Ružomberok. As children, we spent a lot of time here with a group of friends, but at the moment I prefer to go to the Kubín region than here. There is basically one main hill, which is wide enough, but for me short and monotonous. Opposite is a children's lift as well as next to the road that leads here. Access to it is possible only with permission and in winter preferably with chains. No one will warn you about it, but it usually causes problems on the road. A sofa and two poms lead to the top of Malina. That's all, and I think they're asking for non-Christian money. It boasts the longest ski slope, but we are basically talking about a 1,2 km long main hill and a 2,6 km long ski slope to the valley station of the cable car. This piste would be considered a connecting one in the Alps, not a main piste. It is narrow and sloping. In addition, for reasons incomprehensible to me, quite a lot of people go to the center, even if the photo does not indicate that. The parking lot in Hrabovo can't do it, especially over the weekend, and it happens that it stops you km from the cable car. Yes, the ski bus will take you there if you wait, but I don't think it's comfortable. My friends scold me for not being a patriot, but let no one get mad at me, I can have more fun with that money. There are two buffets in the center and there is still advice because they can't catch up. The view from the top of Malina would be quite nice if it was not spoiled by our good neighbor "factory Mondi"

Another bigger center near 40km is Donovaly. There are two hills, one for better skiers, where the cabin lift is combined with the seat and the second so-called donkey meadows where it is easy to manage our five-year Leonard dark. Yes, there is night skiing. Donovaly has a lot of opportunities for sports and this center can be compared with the Alps in terms of infrastructure. Ski slopes or by mistake. There is a nice children's ski school and Donovaly I have been included as a center for families with children. Anyway, you can go around here quite well, even though your wallet will feel quite good.

Bright is of course also within range, but the price and people's massacre do not have to. Let it all be taken by everyone. The possibility of skiing is naturally more, but these are the most important hills. Also worth mentioning are the village lifts nearby, such as Bílý potok, Turík or Smrekovica, where families certainly do not bloody out of money and can enjoy a decent skiing or just outdoing the beans.

Winter, but not just about skiing, but also about cross-country skiing and skiing, and especially for the second activity there is a lot of opportunities around Ruzomberok.

I can definitely recommend cross-country skiing Čutkovská valley, which starts at the end of Černová. There is a very nice chalet at the Good Shepherd, and especially in the summer there are many opportunities for children to enjoy. Dolina is quite long and you can climb up to Malino Brdo or Smrekovica if you head to its end. On cross-country skiing, but up to the top you do not have it earlier on skialpinis. On cross-country skiing I usually get to the night, but it's also a great relaxation.

I definitely recommend lighter skialp routes the way to Malino. Whether on the slopes, where it's casual warmth for 45min, or better on the way, where it's about half an hour longer but better for me. The video is downhill down the Bear Road and below shows the entire Bear route along 6,6km.

A nice route leads along the Vlkolíne Meadows around the Krkava Rocks and over the UNESCO protected Vlkolínec cultural monument and back to Gejdák. The whole of it has 7,5 km so it's nothing difficult. The most beautiful cross-country skiing trail in the surrounding area is an unpretentious route with the above-mentioned Smrekovica where you can go or leave and then walk along the ridge to the top of Malina Brda and down the slope to Ruzomberok. The route has 13,8km and is definitely worth it.

From Smrekovice there are lots of other nice trails, but surely everyone will find it when it is selected at Smrekovica, so I definitely recommend it. A car with chains or 4x4, for example, that year will certainly be an experience. Smrekovica itself is a magical place where you can ride on the beans among the trees.
