Horská Chalupa 246 - recreational holiday Herlíkovice, Giant Mountains

Modernly renovated cottage and spacious rooms furnished to make you feel at home. Accommodation is ideal for families with children, who will certainly like the naming of the rooms. Rent a room or an entire cottage for a week and come skiing with friends in the Herlikovice Bubákov ski area, which is only 250 meters from the cottage. We offer accommodation in a non-smoking guest house in two to five-bed rooms with private bathroom, TV and Wi-Fi connection. The total capacity is 6 rooms and 23 beds. There is a shared equipped kitchen. We provide storage for bicycles and skis. Possibility of parking in front of the house.

 

Accommodation in a cottage

We made a fairytale cottage modern accommodation near the slopes in the Giant Mountains for families with children and large groups.

 

6 cheerful rooms

  • All rooms have a private bathroom and can accommodate a total of 23 people. The small and fully equipped large kitchen is ready not only for cooking good food, but also for fun evenings. And what kind of modern accommodation in the mountains would we be if we didn't wi-fi and TV in each room.

 

Stay directly below the ski slope

The ski slope of the Herlíkovice – Bubákov ski area can be found right behind the cottage and will take you there  gondola lift, you can handle the return journey on skis to the cottage.
Near the accommodation is Vrchlabí Henrych brewery with restaurant Brewery bastion, where you can enjoy local specialties and good beer.

Notice to guests

Bikes, skis and other sports equipment can be hidden in a lockable bike shed. We hope that you will feel at home with us and thank you as our guests in the cottage you do not smoke and change your shoes.

The best cross-country trails around Vrchlabí

Do you like cross-country skiing? Then it's for you accommodation in Herlíkovice the right thing. Except illuminated and modified track in Vrchlabí, there are many cross-country trails that lead through the beautiful Krkonoše nature. From the upper station of the Bubákov cable car, head for example in the direction of Kněžice or Horní Mísečky.

Enjoy the summer in Herlíkovice

Summer in the mountains is mainly about relaxation in nature. Ideal activities in the area include hiking, Nordic walking, cycling and mushroom picking. The cable car will take you to the upper station, where you will connect to cross-country trails with a beautiful view of the Giant Mountains. You have convenient access to cross-country trails connected with the Vejsplachy complex in Vrchlabí, Benecko and Mísečky.

From here there is convenient access to cross-country trails connected with the Vejsplachy complex in Vrchlabí, Benecko and Mísečky.

Lookout Žalý

Less able tourists can go to the hill Žalý (1019 m above sea level) by 500 altitude meters by cable car from Herlíkovice. For larger tourists, there is also a walking option. The lookout tower is made of stone and its height is 18 meters. At the top is a newly built mountain hut, which originally stood on the site since 1890.

 

Road through the Elbe mine

Length: 17,5 km
Medvědín cable car - Šmídova vyhlídka - Zlaté vrchší, Vrbatova bouda - Pančavský waterfall - Labská bouda - Spring of the Elbe - Pudlava waterfall - U staré pily - Dívčí lávky - Špindlerův Mlýn.

 

Rest route from Výrovka to Špindlerův Mlýn

Length: 10 km
Cableway Pláň - Rozcestí u Srubu - Klínovky - Cottage at the crossroads - Výrovka - A long mine along the green route to Špindlerův Mlýn.

 

To Sněžka via Luční bouda 

Length: 24 km
Cableway Pláň - Rozcestí u Srubu - Klínovky - Cottage at the crossroads - Výrovka - Luční bouda - Sněžka (1603 m above sea level) - Silesian house - Luční bouda - Bouda u Bílého Labe - Dívčí lávky - Špindlerův Mlýn.

 

Bobsleigh track in Špindl

Bobovka has a length of 1400 meters, you will pass 22 turns, 5 jumps (terrain breaks) and 3 tunnels. From the track is a beautiful view of the surrounding panorama of the Giant Mountains. You can go in the bobsleigh for one or two. Children under the age of 8 ride accompanied by their parents. In some places, your speed can reach up to 65 / km per hour, but it depends on you, you regulate the speed yourself.

 

Cycle route of the White Elbe valley

Route length: 12 km, suitable for families with children
From the center of Špindlerův Mlýn (Bílý most) - follow the blue tourist sign, cycle route no.14 - cable car Medvědín - cycle route no.16, restaurant Myslivna - Dívčí lávky - hut U Bílého Labe - follow the yellow tourist sign, cycle route no.16 (Dřevařská cesta ) and back to the center of Špindlerův Mlýn.

 

Farm Kněžice 

Horseback riding can be undertaken at any time during the year, daily from 10 am to 16 pm, by appointment it is also possible outside the set time. You can go to the nearest surroundings of Kněžice and the Krkonoše National Park. Ponies are also available for smaller children.
