Pension Pod Vlekem - Accommodation The Jizera Mountains offer its visitors accommodation right in the heart of the Jizera Mountains with a capacity of up to 65 people. Accommodation in Pension Pod Vlekem is located in the village of Janov nad Nisou - Hrabětice, which in the summer months will enchant its virgin nature and fresh mountain air. The simple and efficient hotel facility is ideal not only for families with children enjoying a family holiday, but also for accommodation in schools in nature, ski training, sports and other sports and cultural events. Pension Pod Vlekem has a capacity of up to 65 beds in double, triple and quadruple rooms, most of which have their own sanitary facilities and can be combined according to your individual needs and wishes. In addition to an ideal location, our guesthouse also has its own car park, bicycle and lounge with refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and Wi-Fi connection. At the same time, our guests can use the microwave and electric kettle, which is located in the common room and facilitates some less demanding tourists their snacks during the day. Visitors can use our own fenced playground, a fireplace, a pergola with a seating area and a bicycle room. Boarding for school trips is in the form of half board and full board. Although the pension is not equipped with its own restaurant or bar, a full-day drinking regime is provided for schools.
Hiking trails
In the vicinity of our Pension Pod Vlekem there are several routes, where you can take several dozen separate hiking trips or go through them during the week.
Among the tourists are also very popular thematic tourist routes. In the Jizera Mountains you can go for example not only in the footsteps of glass makers and the glass industry, but also in the footsteps of mysterious horse smugglers.
Cycling routes
The mountainous terrain of the Jizera Mountains and the surrounding area of Janova nad Nisou is used in the summer by cyclists who are enthusiastic about the hills in the area. This sport is not for any sloths, so active cycling in the Jizera Mountains is especially for the more experienced athletes.
Routes for the handicapped
Although the terrain of the Jizera Mountains is really demanding in some of its parts, there are several routes in the vicinity of Janova nad Nisou, which are also suitable for handicapped tourists. For tourists on the wheelchair it is suitable, for example, a trail near the Bedřichov Dam, a shorter route to Nová Louka to the source of the so-called White Nisy, or a trip to the northern slope of Směravy mountain where the air tragedy took place in 1992.

Relaxation
Close to our accommodation in the Jizera Mountains there are also plenty of places where you can enjoy a lot of fun with your family even in bad weather, or you can take a visit to any of them as pure relaxation. At the 10km, you will find a swimming pool in Jablonec nad Nisou, in Liberec you will find the famous Babylon Aquapark, Dinopark, botanical and zoological gardens.
For active recreation with children, you can take advantage of the 500 meters of the Riding School and the Dřevona mini ZOO, the rope center, the bobsleigh track in Janov nad Nisou or the climbing wall Makak there. On request, it is possible to arrange a lecture of Mountain Service staff or a meeting with the most famous Czech musketeer, Jan Henychová.
