The guesthouse is located in an old mining settlement, where iron ore was mined, and offers cozy accommodation facilities for up to twenty people in four rooms. In Ruda, you can visit the baroque church of Our Lady of the Snows, which was built in 1756-1758 by the mayor of Unič, Jiří Greschenberger, as a thank you for saving his life during a dangerous fall into a ravine in the local forest. Its light-colored interior is decorated, among other things, with a marble altar, a copy of the image of Our Lady of the Snows from the Roman basilica, and a statue of St. Jáchym and St. Anne. The Way of the Cross leads from the church to the top of Křížové vrch. The fourteen stops have the shape of a heart with reliefs of passion scenes, at the end of the Way of the Cross there is a sculpture of Calvary. You will find our apartments in the beautiful surroundings of the three Moravian-Silesian mountains - in Nízké and Hrubé Jeseník and from summer 2021 also in the Beskydy Mountains. It is a trio of places with a unique atmosphere and a wide range of tourist possibilities in summer and winter.

The Trinity is also an old Christian symbol and refers to the original use of some buildings reconstructed by the Ostrava - Opava Bishopric, in which we offer apartment accommodation. Will you be more attracted by a rebuilt parsonage with a beautiful garden that competed for building of the year? Or a cottage in the middle of the woods without electricity, with water from a mountain stream, in a place without light smog, and thus the most beautiful night sky? One better than the other, don't you think? The offer of Apartments near Trojica is diverse.

An old Latin proverb says that three make a union. Whether you go to the Beskydy or Jeseníky Mountains with your family or a group of friends, we will create a pleasant environment for you in the apartments at Trojice for moments of relaxation spent together.

Trips around

Rejvíz

The Rejvíz educational trail is located in the national nature reserve of the same name, which covers an area of 396,63 ha in the northeastern part of Hrubé Jeseník in the Orlík massif. The territory is the watershed of the Černá Opava and the Vrchovištní stream, which is located at an altitude of 750 to 790 m above sea level in a wide, shallow basin slightly inclined to the east. The uniqueness of the nature of this reserve is conditioned by the geological past and climate.

The boundaries of the reserve are marked on tree trunks with two red stripes and tables with the state coat of arms. The peripheral zone of the reserve consists of a spruce forest with an area of 67,39 ha, the character of which changes towards the center of the protected area into stands with pine mud.

The site is an important biotope for many rare and protected species of plants and animals. The preserved natural values of the Rejvíz bog are not only the object of scientific research, but also very attractive from the point of view of tourism.

Praděd - the highest mountain in Moravia

If you haven't been to Praděd, it's as if you haven't even visited the Jeseníky Mountains. The highest mountain in Moravia and at the same time the highest peak of the Hrubý Jeseník mountain range reaches an altitude of 1 meters above sea level. And above all, the views from the top are worth the trip!

Guests of Apartments U Trojice can easily get to Praděd on foot from Karlova Studánka. For example, the yellow tourist route through the Bílá Opava valley is picturesque. The trail through the wild canyon ends at the Ovčárna cottage. The last three kilometers to the top of Praděd are a walk along a wide road. If you can't walk up the hill well, take a car or bus from Karlova Studánka to the parking lot for Ovčárná.

No matter how you get to Praděd, be sure to take the elevator to the lookout tower at a height of 1 meters at the top. In good weather, you can see a part of the Czech Republic from the Giant Mountains to the Beskydy Mountains. The stylish restaurant in the transmitter building is also worth a visit. If you have a good refreshment there, you can easily manage the eight kilometers back to Karlova Studánka.

Bílá Opava - a breathtaking canyon with waterfalls

The Bílá Opava River has created a breathtaking canyon in its upper reaches. The stream rushes through the rocks, creating a wild scenery of waterfalls and roaring predatory waters. This corner of nature is one of the most beautiful that you can visit in Moravia and Silesia.

The ideal starting point for guests of Apartments U Trojice is a small parking lot on the road between Karlova Studánka and Vidly. The five-kilometer walk upwards along the yellow marker is technically demanding in places, several footbridges and larger stones have to be overcome. But it's nothing that an average hiker can't handle.

Barborka cottage is often the destination for visitors to the Bílá Opava valley. There they have something good to eat and return back by a gentle descent along the blue tourist trail to Karlova Studánka. The entire route can be completed in four hours without difficulty, and it is definitely better to leave earlier in the morning. You can park more easily and enjoy the route without large crowds.

Velká Kotlina - Follow the blue path to Grandpa's garden

For several months of the year, Velká Kotlina is hidden under meter-long drifts of snow. Every now and then an avalanche rolls through the cauldron. But when the snow disappears in the spring, this amazing place changes beyond recognition. The green of rhododendrons and grasses mix with the colors of rare flowers to create a breathtaking scenery.

If you are staying at Apartments U Trojice, you can go to Velká Kotlina from Karlov. The educational trail takes you along the upper course of the Moravice River together with the blue marker. The forest will gradually turn into a meadow and alpine meadows strewn with stones.

When you arrive under the largest Peter's stones at an altitude of 1446 meters, you can decide whether to refresh yourself at Ovčárná and then return the same way back. Or you turn onto the ridge of Vysoké hole and go down the red and green back to Karlovo. Either way, beautiful nature and an unforgettable experience await you.
