TOURISM AND TRIPS
Lysa hora the most visited and at the same time the highest (1323 masl) peak of the Beskydy.
Routes:
- Frýdlant nO - Malenovice by BUS or car to the Bezruč hotel, and then on your own to the top (the shortest, steepest ascent).
- Ostravice via Butořanka and Lukšinec to the top of Lysá hora, following the red marker.
- Ostravice, Šance water reservoir - the longest but most beautiful route along the yellow marker.
Ondřejník (890 masl), Skalka (964 masl)
It is the nearest peak from the Kamenná stráň cottage. You can go directly from the hut to the top, or continue along the ridge to the top of Skalka. The return is possible in several ways. We recommend going back to the saddle between Ondřejník and Skalka, then through the log cabin Ondřejníček with possible refreshments. Or from Skalka to Kunčice pod Ondřejník on the train that will take you back to Frýdlant nad O. Before departure, we recommend refreshing yourself at the Ogar brewery (a short walk from the station).
Spruce (1277 masl)
The second highest mountain of the Beskydy. A beautiful, majestic mountain, which is mostly visited by rock tourists due to the lack of a restaurant. We can only recommend it for romantics, there are beautiful views from it. The starting point is from the center of Ostravice, from the Šance dam, or from Čeladná - Podolánka.
Pustevny - mountain saddle (1018 masl)
Due to its diversity, picturesqueness, architecture and background in the beautiful Jurkovič buildings (Maměnka, Libušín) or in the newly built upper station of the cable car designed by the architect Kamil Mrva, it is one of the most visited places in the Beskydy Mountains. The ascent is possible from Ráztoka, which you can reach by car via Čeladná. From the parking lot of Ráztoky, you can take the cable car, or walk along the path called Knížecí (approx. 1 hour) to the top of Pustevna. In Pustevny, you can visit the Valašská stezka in the clouds lookout, or walk to the Radegast statue and then to the Cyril and Methodius chapel on the top of Radhošť. In Pustevny, it is possible to rent scooters or sleds, with the possibility of returning them at the Ráztoka parking lot, where you can also visit the rope center TARZANIA. Hermitages are also accessible by car, via the road from Prostřední Bečva.
Devil's Mill (1205 masl)
It is possible to visit it by a short but quite challenging walk from Pusteven following the red sign to the top. Then a little further along the green sign you will reach the devil's table, where you can have a snack. According to legend, it is a remnant of the devil's mill, which the devil had the task of building in one night.
Princess (1256 mnn)
A protected nature reserve with rare grouse and large animals such as lynx and wolf.
Velká Stolová (1046 mnn)
Less visited peak. The easiest access is from the crossroads under the Malá Stolové s Kněhyní saddle, where the red tourist sign from Horní Čeladná and Pusteven leads, and the yellow sign from Kunčice pod Ondřejník.
White Cross
A popular destination. The start is possible from Visalaje, or along the beautiful ridge from Grůn, with beautiful views, past the wooden church of the Virgin Mary from 1887.
Prašivá (843 mnn)
