The Alpine-style cottage was newly built in 2005. It was built in a secluded area surrounded by forests, called America, near the town of Strážov in Šumava, where the old brun mill originally stood. The house belongs to a large, hectare, carefully maintained plot of land with lots of grown fruit trees, the lower edge of which is bordered by a creeping brook. the interior is predominantly covered with spruce wood with exposed ceiling beams. The heart of the house is a large room on the ground floor, dominated by tiled stoves that not only cook warmly but can cook and bake on them. Cookies, baked in these stoves, are said to have no competition. For those who prefer classics, there is a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. On the ground floor there is also a luxuriously furnished bathroom with a toilet and one small bedroom with one single bed. On the floor of the house there is a spacious and airy living room with a double bed and a sofa with the possibility of two extra beds. Get out of this room to the balcony. The second bedroom with two beds is smaller, but not less cozy. There is also a second, very nice bathroom on the first floor.
For sauna fans, a spacious sauna is built in the basement of the house, whose design again goes beyond normal standards. In the adjoining room, sports guests can play table tennis.
Of note is also a larch terrace with outdoor seating, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, a portable grill, a stylish fireplace, a hammock and a large trampoline.
