Downhill skiing and snowboarding
Directly above the pension are 2 slopes, snowpark, school skiing a snowboarding.
For the more demanding skiers is Mitterdorf in Germany, 23 km away, where there are several slopes divided into different levels of difficulty from blue to black.
Cross-country skiing
The machine-modified tracks are directly above Obrovec in several circuits in lengths of 2, 5, 15 km. Via the locality of Šindlov it is possible to connect to the Šumava highway and use the circuits around Kvilda, Churáňov and Schwarzenberg canal.
