The club is located in the eastern Giant Mountains in the village Velka Upa at an altitude of 930 m. Quiet location III. KRNAP zone with the murmur of Javoří brook is a place ideal for relaxation from the noise of cities and human teeming. In the dining room and in the common room there is a TV, video and party games in addition to the fireplace. Showers and toilets are on the ground floor. The building is centrally heated in winter by central heating, in summer the hot water is heated by electricity. The manager lives in the house and provides hot water and heating. This facility serves members of the Club not only to gain new strength, but mainly in their club work, which consists in the education of the protection of kangaroos, which are millions millions a year. But because Club members do not occupy their seat all year round, we open our doors to other nature lovers.
Sport
In summer there is a possibility of tourist activities, the cottage lies at the crossroads of green and blue tourist signs with the possibility of connection to the ridge red signs.
Around the cottage leads cycling from Montenegro.
Or you can pick mushrooms and forest berries.
In winter there is about 150 m ski lift 0,3 km long, at a distance of 200 m another ski lift 0,5 km long with the possibility of crossing to the area in Pec pod Sněžkou.
And there are other 2 skis. lifts further away.
Cross-country trails are maintained and it is easy to connect to the cottage.
We offer sleigh rides driven by a dog team.
Fun
There is a bowling alley in Velká Úpa about 1,5 km. In Pec p. Snezka you can swim in the hotel Horizont. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Pec p. Sn. for more fun.
