Surroundings of the Barn
The garden part of the plot is bordered by forest in the upper part, to which there is free access. The location of the Barn invites you to take trips to the surrounding nature. Walking and cycling tours are automatically offered in the summer season, and in the winter the Jizera Mountains are a paradise for cross-country skiers.
In the surrounding area you will find everything for summer and winter enjoyment - Ski resort Bedřichov, Ski resort Severák, Ještěd, rope park, bobsleigh track, trampoline center or you will be excited by hiking or cycling.
Winter in Jizerka
Jizerská magistrála - As early as 1984, the tracks, known today as Jizerská magistrála. Cross-country skiers today they have quite a few at their disposal in the mountains on the border with Poland 200 kilometers of ski trails.
Ski Resort Severak - To the west of Bedřichov lies the territory of Hrabětice in the Jizera Mountains Ski resort Severák. Skiers and snowboarders are waiting here a number of slopes of total length 4,3 kilometers, while the longest one measures 645 meters.
Ski area Bedřichov - It is available here for winter sports lovers seven slopes in total length 4,5 kilometers, of which, except for one red one, most are blue, suitable for beginner skiers or families with children. The slopes are artificially snowed, they are served by six lifts and a moving carpet and are also on offer evening skiing.
Ski resort Tanvaldský Špičák - The largest ski resort in the Jizera Mountains is located at an altitude of 560 to 800 meters above sea level. In addition to the classic tracks, there is a children's playground, which is equipped with its own short lift. Lovers of freestyle riding on snowboards and skis will certainly be delighted by the Pod lesem snowpark. The approximate length of all tracks is 6km and is 100% covered by technical snowmaking. After descending the track, 5 lifts and one cableway with a total transport capacity of around 6000 people per hour await you at the bottom.
Ski resort Ještěd - A modern ski resort within reach of Liberec city transport with excellent transport accessibility. (Czech Innsbruck). There are 2 four-seat cable cars, 1 two-seat cable car, 1 cabin cable car to the top of Ještěd and 6 ski lifts. It is one of the most modern campuses in the Czech Republic.
Summer in Jizerka
Bobsled track and trampoline center Janov nad Nisou - The track measures 900 m and has a total of 22 turns at a height of 78 m.

Rope park Bedřichov - The Rope Park offers 3 circuits of varying difficulty at a height of 2 - 9 m above the ground and a climbing tower, which is located right next to the Rope Park and is 8,5 m high.

Hiking and biking
In the summer, the Jizera Mountains turn into a summer destination full of cycle routes and hiking trails, a place that offers a variety of nature trips and learning about mountain culture and Czech history.
Visitors have the opportunity to see places that are difficult to reach with cross-country skis or skis, such as places with distant viewpoints or valleys with bodies of water.
