Pension Měrunice offers accommodation in the beautiful surroundings of the Bohemian Central Mountains. It is an ideal place for hiking, mushroom picking and cycling. We provide accommodation in a newly renovated house on the outskirts of Měrunice. Nearby is a renovated church and a small pond. The first written references to Měrunice come from 12. century when the village belonged to the Teplice monastery, dedicated to Jan the Baptist, whose founder was Queen Judith, wife of King Vladislav I. The oldest settlement is known much earlier. Already in 8. century people lived here.
The first document proving the existence of the village comes from 1295 and mentions the ruler Jan, who owned the fortress, the oldest building in the village, which is still a part of the farm and probably owned by the village. According to Přemysl Peer in the book "History of Teplice until the year of 1848", Měrunice was a village village.
