Kunětická Mountain

The flat landscape 7 km from Pardubice performs the Tertiary igneous rock 82 m above the surrounding terrain and forms a dominant characteristic of East Elbe.

In 1491 bought the castle with the estate of William Pernstein. For him and his sons have seen the biggest rebuilding the castle in the late Gothic style in the previous early Renaissance. The result was a double-towered castle has been preserved only the cylindrical tower on the southeast side, which is part čtyřkřídlového palace. Important place in terms of castle architecture occupies Kunětická mountain building walls using massive earth mounds, stone walls, dry moats and towers round. The whole system of defense ensured individual circuits and castle on the north side of the access road fortified with six gates.
After 1560 when Kunětická mountain came into the possession of the royal chamber, there was a decline. This culminated in 1645 when the Thirty Years War Swedish army burned the castle. STUD FARM KLADRUBY

The one-storey chateau was built in the Renaissance style and resembled the letter L in the floor plan. A church was added to the chateau building, forming a whole with the chateau building. The castle was used mainly to accommodate guests, as evidenced by the large number of rooms, two kitchens, chambers and cellars. Next to the chateau, administrative and operational buildings were built - the house of the administrator of the stud farm, the riding school and the necessary blacksmith's workshop.

The castle did not avoid the reconstructions that came with the emerging fashion trends. The Baroque is reminiscent of the reconstruction of the Kladruby chateau in 1722, in which art historians do not even rule out the participation of Kilián Ignác Dienzenhofer.

The castle was not avoided by a large fire, which damaged the castle, the church and the stables. For Joseph II. however, the entire chateau complex was restored. In the years 1836 - 1844, new Empire stables were built.

As styles and centuries changed, the Renaissance chateau came again in the form of a pseudo-Renaissance reconstruction under Emperor Francis Joseph I. The stud farm with the chateau remained the property of the imperial family until the end of the Habsburg monarchy in 1918.

GOLF CLUB freely HAMRY

The nine-hole course was built in 1999. It is located in the floodplain of the river Chrudimka. It is interwoven with a number of water obstacles. Its length ranks it among the most demanding golf courses in the Czech Republic. Thanks to broadly conceived tracks, on the other hand, he can tolerate some badly played blow here and there. The profile of the individual holes is rather flat, the players do not complete any large elevation during the game. Not only GCCSH members appreciate the location of the course in the middle of the woods, which helps undisturbed relaxation while playing golf in the middle of beautiful nature.

New Nine

Since 2012, there has been a change in the layout and playing of the course. Thanks to the completion of a new three-pair hole, we gained the opportunity to change and also improve our existing course. The existing well No. 7 was closed and replaced by this new well. The new nine has the following parameters: Men: 111 m, women 103 m.

There was also because of the renumbering of the existing wells. The new nine has been standardized. The new standard (men 72,3 CR and SR 123, women 74,1 CR and SR 129) is a little bit heavier than the old standard pitch.
