One of the most famous, most beautiful and tourist-attractive circuits in the Kokořín region is the Cinibulkova trail. From 1904 to 1944, Josef Bedřich Cinibulk, a promoter and admirer of the natural beauty of the Mšen and Kokořín regions, lived in Mšen. He loved Kokořínsko, the rocks and forests of Mšen, and at the end of his life he sketched a trail that would show visitors to Mšen the most beautiful and interesting parts of this region in the immediate vicinity. KČT took up this idea and the trail bearing the name of the initiator JB Cinibulek was opened by the city as early as 1946.
Although it has changed its original route over the years and some of the surrounding views have been obscured by mature trees, its charm will delight every hiker. Even the totalitarian renaming of the mass circuit did not find a response among tourists. The current 9-kilometer circuit will take us through canyons, ravines, ravines, rock passages with views of the beautiful surrounding landscape. The local yellow-and-white tourist sign (psaníčko) guides us along the path. We will start the route at the square in Mšen in order to return to the starting point after a difficult journey. A path awaits us through rugged terrain with ascents to steep slopes, connected by narrow openings between rocks.
Along the way, we will pass CLIMBERS - Lens-shaped cavities in the rock with narrow openings. The cave of Mary Magdalene (also an iconography) which served as a hiding place for valuable images during the 30 years' war. The path along the wooden steps and along the ridges of half-faced mountains through Vyhlídky takes us to the most attractive part of our route to the rock maze. Through Romanov, the Swedish Wall and the intersection rock, we pass the Giant's Head and Frog rock formations. From there we will descend below the rock city with the most difficult rock massif "FARAON". Via a dirt road with the local name Mičovka with nice views of Mšeno. Around the chapel of St. Antoníček, we will come to the Municipal Spa (swimming pool).
Which are a unique architectural work in art deco style and are among the gems of our region. They were built in 1932 and are the only ones preserved in our republic. Here you can end our journey and cool your body in the cool water from the rock spring or continue back to the starting point and use the shops on the square in Mšen.
