During our extended summer cycling tour in North Bohemia, we chose Czech Switzerland as our destination. On the recommendation of the acquaintances we have chosen the Limousine as the starting point for trips. Namely the local camp, which is about 5 kilometers away from Hřensko. Its location is ideal for visiting the Pravčická gate and the gorge. Camp Mezní louka we did not, but did not fail. The sanitary facilities and the washrooms were quite nice and kept in relative purity; we set our tent in a place covered by direct sun, so nothing was missing. In addition, the bicycle depository could be used, which was more than practical when we were planning a daylong hike for the next day.

In the morning, we headed down the red tourist sign towards Pravčická Gate. On a path that is sometimes quite narrow and full of rocks and roots, I would recommend all the hard sport shoes. Even though, on the other side, we met some enthusiasts in flip-flops or slippers who still managed to walk, as well as parents with a stroller who sometimes had to do to enter the road and with this carriage. On the contrary, pets had no problem, dogs we met at least ten.

The weather wished us so we could safely leave the waterproof jackets we had taken with us at the camp. But if it rains, there are not many places on the road that could be hidden. So when I do not count a few rock overhangs that were sometimes seen and could be used as a shelter from the rain if needed.

As the clock hands approached the noon, we climbed the last steps to the entrance to the Pravčická Gate and the Eagle's Nest Restaurant. After paying the admission we joined a crowd of other tourist enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the huge mass of people disappointed me very much because there was almost no movement on the ground, and it seemed more like a city than in the wild. This unreal crush took my taste not just for lunch (we would not have been waiting for it anyway, and if so, it would be crowded next to the table, and would look great when we get out of the table), but also a thorough look around the place.

Both Prospect and Pravčická Gate were very nice, but as I say, totally overcrowded. And we had a trip to Hřensko, where we still wanted to visit the gorges, that is, to ride them on boats. But as soon as we left the Pravčice Gate, I knew it was probably going to be a head on my head. And it was only Friday. I did not even want to imagine how it must look like this at the weekend ...
