As the first trip with a retro bike around Greaser, I chose the Krkavec lookout tower, which contains both asphalt and forest paved paths. The distance 8km (back and forth) is not dizzy, but it is enough for the first ride. I took my brother, who is an active sportsman. That's why he took the classic medium-tailed Hard tail from Focus.
I started the journey from Jyska to Lochotín. I loaded the flashlight on 100% to see how much it will be exhausted, because manufacturers report the range of 50km.
As expected, my brother easily overtook me in the woods on a mountain bike. My retro Greaser I was protected by the large saddle and wide tires (26x3.0) against the terrain irregularities, but it is not a mountain bike, so I could not go through the woods where it is the same pothole, roots, stones etc.

After crossing the forest trail I wanted to race with my brother. Before leaving, I stopped at PČP (obligatory pee pause). While I turned, my brother was gone, on the way to the lookout tower. 
. Never mind. On the hike of a steep hill, I switched on the assistant to max. After starting and 300 meters, I rode only for inertia. For the next few meters I was at the "top". With Greaser, it was a speedboat in the style of a mountain goat. 
When I arrived, my brother was already sitting there looking like he was there for at least an hour. 
That made me happy, so I started making plans to give it to him on the way back.

We were refreshing on the lookout tower and went to enjoy the view. The trip was not unnecessary, and although the journey, especially Greasro, was quite short. It's definitely worth a cool Saturday ride. Well, judge for yourself

On the way home, I wanted to keep pace, which was no problem without pause. The best was the exit from the observation tower. There I rushed at about 50 km / h. Bike held on the road well. It is built on cycle paths and roads and it is known. One really enjoys such a ride. Feeling like a motorbike. We also stopped at the Třemošenský Pond because the trip seemed short and the small detour didn't hurt.

As far as I know, I'll answer . My brother didn't forgive the comments of the tip "you have to tread like other people" here and there. . He didn't even respond to my arguments that most of the time I pedal without power. So I waited for the asphalt bike path, which led uphill about 300 m. At the beginning I shouted "I'm going without a motor !!!" (to let him know) and I stepped on it. At the next crossroads, I look back and look, I left him about 50 meters behind me. Then he had no bullshit.
Impressions from your first retro bike trip
I definitely enjoyed the ride, just a pity it was so short. It was fun in the forest, but I would feel better on a mountain bike. Here it is necessary to say that the Greaser is built on the road and asphalt. It's not a mountain chamois. On the other hand, if you do not drive through the forest time trial, then "No problem".
It was a different cafe on dusty roads and not to mention the asphalt, I was king there. I used the support of the assistant minimally in the field, mainly to overcome the weight of the bike (28 kg). I plowed it on asphalt to 30-40 km / h and enjoyed the ride. There is basically nothing to complain about this bike. It is well controlled, the electric motor will help if I don't want to pedal too much, or I just want to go faster. It's a pity that the trip was only for hours, because I enjoyed it a lot. Next weekend I will take such a small "Road trip" and go to the dam Hracholusky (50 km there and back). At least I will finally test the endurance of the flashlight, because I still feel that the official range of 50 km does not concern me and I will go much further and still enjoy the ride on this handsome man.
