The upcoming spring weather calls you to go somewhere, but where to go? The vacation is still far away, but where to spend a pleasant weekend, so that you just do not spend half the time on the way.
If you come from the Pilsen region or the surrounding area, go for a look at Loket Castle. which is located approximately 80 km from Pilsen. In an hour and a half you can roll the ham in a nice paddling campsite :)
We went there for a blint, but it is certainly not a good idea to call and book a place there during the season. The camp can only fit 5 residential, so it is definitely better to know before they leave with tears. The stall is right by the Ohře River. Ideal for afternoon sunbathing. A kiosk with refreshments and toilets is a stone's throw away. Only showers were out of order :(, but since the season has not been officially started yet, we have run out of this little lack :)
If you have the opportunity, be sure to go with the wheels (we didn't catch it much this time and had to go our own way), but there are beautiful bike paths. It leads directly from the camp to the castle grounds, where you can then be rewarded with ice cream. On the other hand, there are also a lot of interesting places from the city - but we only came to a well about 3 km away, given that our two-year-old daughter did the company for us, who still missed a bike;)
On the way back, we were building the last day in the nearby Bečov nad Teplou and a little bit in the history of the local castle. An absolutely ideal weekend for the whole family :)
