Házmburk Castle - Excursions and accommodation in the vicinity
Házmburk Castle stands on a basalt hill above the town of Libochovice. The castle has its unmistakable silhouette with the Black and White Towers and is often called the king of the Bohemian Highlands. It was built in the 13th century as a royal castle and originally bore the Czech name Klapý. In 1335, it was acquired by the noble family of Zajíc from Valdek.
